What you need to consider before losing your virginity at early age

May 20th, 2012

Every human being was born a virgin and expected to be until a certain age be you male or female. Virginity is a pride to she/he that stays to it, most especially the female, it is their honor to stay till when they are married to someone they love because losing it to the person you love is the honor that deserved it. A lot of girls fall prey losing it to the wrong person that will never appreciate it, and this is because they are ignorant of it or because they just want to do it because others are doing. Research has it that Girls lose their virginity at their early age i.e. about 80% lose it between the age of 14-19 while 15% between the age of 20-25 and 5% is 30 and above.    The big question here is why are girls losing it at that tender age of 13-18 while not waiting till they are married? It is due to the following: • Influence from their peers is the most important reason while a lot of girls are doing it before their time because their friends are doing it they feel let out, uncivilized, timid and that they are losing something exciting and great. So the pressure from peers is of great influence on girls that are still virgin. • Urge to know how exciting it is as they heard sex told, virgins in the midst of girls/boys that have broken their cap, with interesting stories of their sexual experiences could spur the virgins into sexual act with anyone just to experience it and tell a story like others • Practice what they watch from movies, with the advent technology is not helping matter at all, because young girls this day have access to the internet where they can watch porn videos freely, even some romantic movies showing some of TV stations, thereby corrupting their mind and tempting them to practice what they watched with anyone. • Some young innocent girls are victim of deceit from the opposite sex to satisfy their sexual desire. • In helpless situations, some young girls are influence or seduced to have sex with the opposite, the seduction could be drunkenness, money, drugs or other sedatives. And before they realize, they have lose their virginity. • Rape, this is the ugliest of it all, using force or threat to have sex with someone and a lot of our young girls are victim of this. However, having sex at teenage/not ready there certain things that you need to consider: Does he love you? Is he responsible? Are you old enough to handle it? Do you protect yourself from the dreadful HIV and other Sexually Transmitted diseases and unwanted Pregnancy? Do you consider other health implications. But if you are old enough to handle the responsibilities of having sex, then you’re old enough to know how serious it is to have unprotected sex. Seriously, with all the STDs going around now, why risk it? It’s stupid, immature, and dangerous NOT to protect yourself, Please use protection and be ready to face anything that comes with it, you can be pregnant even for the first time? But for those that waited till after their married it is worth commending and it is enjoying. As for you there is nothing to fear because you must have gone for the necessary tests before your married. It is funny to hear some young girls saying they don’t regret losing early, I know within you in your closet a day shall come when you will tell yourself the truth that you regretted losing cheaply. Please girls, make sure a guy truly loves you before you have sex with him. Wait till you are completely ready. Its not worth the pain and suffering you go through if he just uses you and leaves you there like you never mattered. But if you lose childishly, stay to love and marry the person that you lose it to. I know this may not sound well to some people but the truth must be told that you have lost a treasure. I got the story below from answer-yahoo.com it might interest you, please endeavor to read through: My wife and I were both virgins when we got married in our mid-twenties. No regrets.

Was everything immediately and completely perfect? Not exactly, but since we kept ourselves pure for each other… there wasn’t any excess emotional baggage, haunting memories, shame, or diseases. God has since blessed us with a wonderful family and a happy life together.

Personally, I think that it would be in the best interests of both males and females to wait for love and the wedding night.

Why? Because that’s the way civilized people have lived for thousands of years, and they respected the laws of God and man. It’s a relatively recent phenomenon that early sex and casual sex has become mainstream

Since you’re curious, here are some additional details regarding my opinion about sex and virginity.

Sex is like a fine pearl… i.e., it is valuable and needs to be treated with care and respect. Just like a pearl should never be trampled into the mud by pigs, you should never give your body to a horny teenage BF or anyone else who doesn’t love and respect you.

Young ladies should not have sex too soon. What does “too soon” mean? Anytime two people have sex, if they are not ready to become parents and support the child that might be created… then it’s “too soon”.

Even birds take the time to build a nest before mating, getting pregnant, and raising their young. Too bad more humans don’t do that!

If a young lady decides to have sex before she can raise a child… then she’s dumber than a bird.

If anyone suggests she starts having sex… she should not listen to advice given by idiots who are dumber than a bird.

Assuming that he’ll use protection… keep in mind that people who claim that birth control is 100% reliable are sometimes later called “parents”.

Have you seen “Teen Mom” on MTV? Those are blunt examples of what can go wrong.

The typical arguments of “I think I’m ready” or “I’m horny” or “He’s horny” or “I’m embarrassed to still be a virgin” or “We love each other” or “Everyone else is doing it” or “My BF expects it” or “I don’t have a Dad and I’m starved for male attention” are not reliable measurements of being emotionally prepared for sex.

Pre-marital sex is a bad idea for young ladies. Why? – Because there are numerous other emotional and moral issues that far outweigh a few minutes of pleasure or satisfying your curiosity or trying to please a selfish & horny BF… such as love, loyalty, honesty, maturity, commitment, dignity, responsibility, mutual respect, and marriage. – Some of the negative feelings and issues might include shame, sneaking around, guilt, abuse, being taken advantage of by a smooth player, an unwanted pregnancy, catching an STD, and heartbreak.

Being abandoned by a guy after her virginity is taken… by a guy who lied and claimed that he loved her… would not be a positive experience for any young lady.

The circumstances of an early “First Time” can have a lasting effect of how the rest of her life will unfold. Why? – Because even if a young lady believes that she and her BF are in love… she usually subconsciously knows that odds are probably 99% against him ultimately becoming her husband… and finds out for certain when they break up. – Because knowing that her parents probably still think that she’s a virgin, and how hurt and ashamed they would feel if they knew the truth… especially her Dad if she has one. – Because she probably has a fear of getting pregnant (there’s no such thing as “safe sex”). – Because her childhood innocence is officially gone forever… with no vows, no fanfare, no formal planning, no celebrations, no announcements, no wedding dress, no bridesmaids, no romantic hotel suite, no “just married” signs, no approval from her family, no congratulations from his family, no diamond ring for her, no gold wedding band for him, no blessings from a church pastor… and no driving off on her honeymoon into a “new life” with a loving and proud husband. – Because losing her virginity based on nothing except the feeling “Gee, I loved him and thought I was ready…” often makes her realize that feelings are frequently not the best foundation for making wise decisions. – Because afterwards, she will probably wish that her BF was stronger or smarter or less horny, and would have suggested to her “Hey, maybe we shouldn’t do this right now…” – Because her BF will be an un-convicted felon if she’s under the legal age of consent (charge = statutory rape) – Because if the males in her family (Dad, brother, uncle, grandpa?) Found out, they would probably want to punch her BF multiple times. – Because the loss of virginity at a young age frequently leads to multiple partners before she even becomes a legal adult. Your virginity is a pride to you as a girl, pride to your parent and treasure to your husband after married, so you must keep it till you are ready

Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress, author, entrepreneur and recording artist. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Duff appeared in local theatre plays and television commercials before coming to prominence in the title role of the Disney Channel’s teen comedy Lizzie McGuire and The CW’s teen drama Gossip Girl as movie star Olivia. Established as a teen idol, Duff reprised that role in the The Lizzie McGuire Movie and subsequently ventured into motion pictures, appearing in a string of successful films that include Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper by the Dozen, A Cinderella Story and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Most recently, she has performed in a legion of television dramas and independent films.

Duff expanded her repertoire to include pop music and has released three RIAA-certified platinum albums including Metamorphosis (2002), her debut studio album which was certified triple platinum, Hilary Duff (2004) and Most Wanted (2005), which were both certified platinum. Her most recent studio album Dignity (2007) was certified gold and spawned her highest charting US single to date “With Love”.Followed by Best of Hilary Duff (2008), a compilation of her greatest hits, Duff has since sold thirteen million albums worldwide.

Branching into the fashion industry, Duff has launched her own clothing lines Stuff by Hilary Duff and Femme for DKNY Jeans in addition to being signed with IMG Models and releasing two exclusive perfume collections with Elizabeth Arden. Her other business ventures include writing a series of young adult novel, including Elixir (2010) and Devoted (2011), while working as an executive producer for According to Greta and as a producer for Material Girls and Beauty & the Briefcase.

Early life
Hilary Erhard Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas, to Susan Colleen (née Cobb), a homemaker, and Robert Erhard Duff, a partner in a chain of convenience stores. Duff has an elder sister, Haylie, who is also an actress and singer. Her mother encouraged her to enroll in acting classes alongside Haylie. Both girls won roles in local theatre productions. At the ages of six and eight, the two sisters participated in a BalletMet Columbus production of The Nutcracker Suite in San Antonio. The sisters became increasingly interested in pursuing acting and their mother moved with them to California, while their father stayed in Houston to take care of his business. The sisters auditioned for several years and were cast in several television commercials. Due to her acting career, Duff was home-schooled.

Acting career
1997–2002: Career beginnings and Lizzie McGuire

Duff primarily played minor roles during her initial acting years. In 1997, she had an uncredited role in the Hallmark Entertainment western miniseries True Women. The following year, she played an uncredited extra in an ensemble dramedy, Playing by Heart. Her first major role was as a young witch, Wendy, in Casper Meets Wendy. The film, however, was released to mostly unenthusiastic reviews. In 1999, Duff appeared in a supporting role in the television film The Soul Collector, which was based on a Kathleen Kane novel. For her performance, Duff won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie or Pilot (Supporting Young Actress).
Duff first rose to fame in 2000 when she was cast as one of the children in the pilot episode of the NBC sitcom Daddio. Her co-star, Michael Chiklis, stated, “After working with her the first day, I remember saying to my wife, ‘this young girl is going to be a movie star’. She was completely at ease with herself and comfortable in her own skin.” However, prior to the airing of the show, Duff was dropped from the cast which made her reluctant to pursue her acting career further. However, her manager and mother urged her on and a week later she auditioned successfully for the title role of a newly developed children’s television series, Lizzie McGuire. The show focused on the growth of the central character, “Lizzie McGuire” into teenhood. Lizzie McGuire first aired on the Disney Channel on January 12, 2001, and was a ratings hit. It attracted about 2.3 million viewers per episode. Her participation in the show made her popular among children between the ages of 7 and 14. That same year, she began dating teen singer Aaron Carter. Richard Huff, a New York Daily News critic, called her “a 2002 version of Annette Funicello”. After Duff fulfilled her 65 episode contract with Lizzie McGuire, Disney considered expanding the franchise to films and a prime-time television series. The plans however failed, because Duff’s representatives said she was not being paid enough for the proposed series.
Duff’s first role in a theatrical motion picture was in Human Nature in 2002. The film was showcased first at the Cannes and Sundance film festivals. In the film, Duff portrayed the younger version of a female naturalist, played by Patricia Arquette. Duff also starred in the Disney Channel television film Cadet Kelly (2002), which became the network’s most watched program in its 19-year history. In the film, she played the role of a free-spirited girl who struggles in a strict military school.

2003–06: Breakthrough film roles
In 2003, Duff received her first major role in a feature film when she was cast alongside Frankie Muniz in Agent Cody Banks. The film received positive reviews and was successful enough to spawn a sequel in which Duff was however not cast. That year, Duff reprised her role as Lizzie McGuire for The Lizzie McGuire Movie. It received mixed reviews, with certain critics calling it “an unabashed promotion of Duff’s image, just as Crossroads was for Britney Spears”. Later that year, Duff played one of the 12 children of Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt in the family film Cheaper by the Dozen, which remains her highest grossing film to date.
Early in 2002, she entered a high-profile feud with Lindsay Lohan because she was also dating Aaron Carter along with her, but then he broke up with Lohan and resumed dating Duff. Later that year, she ended her two year relationship with Aaron Carter after he reportedly cheated on her.
She reprised her role in the sequel Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), which was less successful as the original film and was panned by critics.
Duff also made several guest appearances in television shows, her first being as a sick child in the medical drama Chicago Hope in March 2000. In a 2003 episode of George Lopez, she had a role as a makeup salesperson; she later reappeared in the show in 2005 as Kenzie, a feminist poet friend of the character Carmen (Masiela Lusha). In the same year, she acted opposite her sister Haylie in American Dreams, while in 2005, she played a classmate and idolizer of the title character of Joan of Arcadia.
In 2004, Duff starred in the romantic comedy A Cinderella Story alongside Chad Michael Murray. Though the reviews were mostly negative, the film went on to become a moderate box office hit, and some critics were impressed by Duff’s performance. Later that year, she starred in the film Raise Your Voice, her first role in a drama film. While some critics praised her for appearing in a more mature and serious role than her previous films, the film itself was heavily panned and was not successful at the box office. Several reviews were indifferent towards her acting performance and were critical of Duff’s vocals, with critics pointing out what appeared to be her digitally enhanced voice. The same year, Duff received her first Razzie nomination for worst actress for her roles in Raise Your Voice and A Cinderella Story. In 2005, Duff starred in The Perfect Man, in which she played the eldest daughter of a divorced woman (Heather Locklear). In the same year, Duff was again nominated for a Razzie Award, for The Perfect Man and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Later that year, the Duff sisters lent their voices to the computer animated comedy Foodfight!, which was to be distributed by Lions Gate Entertainment but was never released. The director of the film, Larry Kasanoff, said that he was “absolutely thrilled to have the Duff sisters as part of the cast”. She also starred in the 2006 satirical comedy Material Girls, in which she co-starred with her sister Haylie Duff. Duff along with her sister Haylie, received two more nominations for Razzie Awards for their roles in the film.

K-POP Saranghae! India: Girls' Generations' Sooyoung poses for …

May 20th, 2012
Popular Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung surprised fans with a chic blonde look
in a photo shoot for the fashion magazine, High Cut.

Sooyoung will be featured in the celebrity style magazine on its May 17th
edition. Her slim figure and model-like legs were featured on full display as
she worked a blond wig to portray a fresh, spring atmosphere while wearing
pieces from the 2012 S/S Tory Burch collection.

After the photo shoot, she sat down for an interview, through which she
commented on things ranging from her fashion sense to the Girls’ Generation
members. “It is very tough for me to play my role in my drama since I am
lacking in aegyo. The other Girls’ Generation members don’t really have aegyo
in front of guys, so I can’t even learn from them
.”

In regards to her members, she spared no compliments by saying, “I
succeeded in life because of the members. While others my age are working
part-time jobs to pay for school, I feel like I am on a ‘dream car’ with 8
others. I definitely receive much more love than what my abilities deserve
.”

As the interview carried over to a discussion regarding her status as a ‘fashionista’,
Sooyoung replied, “I normally do have an interest in fashion so I am
thankful for that acknowledgement. Actually, I had no idea that fellow member
Jessica
had that much interest in fashion. When she was younger, she used to wear a
simple white top and jeans, but now that she found a style that really fits
her, she has become a real fashionista!

Unreleased cuts can be found on the magazine’s official homepage, while the
rest of the cuts can be seen through the 77th edition of ‘High Cut’ magazine.
